The same five concepts, in every platform’s own words.
You say spend; the APIs say five different things. Upbuild translates, and this table is the dictionary.
| Spend | Impressions | Clicks | Conversions | Revenue | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Ads | spend | impressions | clicks | actions · purchase | action_values · purchase |
| Google Ads | metrics.cost_micros | metrics.impressions | metrics.clicks | metrics.conversions | metrics.conversions_value |
| Google Analytics 4 | advertiserAdCost | advertiserAdImpressions | advertiserAdClicks | conversions | totalRevenue |
| CM360 | mediaCost | impressions | clicks | totalConversions | totalRevenue where tagged |
| DV360 | METRIC_MEDIA_COST_ADVERTISER | METRIC_IMPRESSIONS | METRIC_CLICKS | METRIC_TOTAL_CONVERSIONS | METRIC_REVENUE_ADVERTISER |
| Adobe Analytics | an imported cost event or eVar via Data Sources | imported event via Data Sources | imported event via Data Sources | metrics/orders or any success event | metrics/revenue |
| TikTok Ads | spend | impressions | clicks | conversions | purchase value from web events |
| Snapchat Ads | spend | impressions | swipes | conversion_purchases | conversion_purchases_value |
Field names as published in each platform’s API documentation, August 2026. Configuration platforms are listed for completeness.
Good to know
About this reference.
Are these lists everything each API exposes?
They are the curated fields people actually ask for, with real API names. Anything else a platform API exposes can be requested by name in the same conversation.
Why do the same concepts have different names per platform?
Every platform API speaks its own dialect. Upbuild keeps the real names so results match what your team sees in each platform’s UI and exports, and the assistant translates when you just say spend.
How often are these pages updated?
Quarterly, and whenever a platform ships a meaningful API change. Each page shows its updated date.
