Upbuild connector · Claude

Your ad accounts, inside Claude.

One click from the Claude connector directory, one sign-in with Google or Microsoft, and Claude reads all your ad and analytics accounts live, such as Google Ads, Meta or GA4. Only the accounts your login reaches, and every tool that touches an advertising platform is read-only.

Live data in the chat

The account answers, not a spreadsheet.

Upbuild has an MCP server as part of its toolset, so Claude calls your platforms itself, across every major ad and analytics platform, such as Google Ads, Meta or GA4. Ask across three of them in one sentence and the numbers come back live, dated today, with the tool that fetched them named in the reply.

It reads, it never writes

Every tool that touches an advertising platform is read-only. Nothing Claude can call will change a budget, a tag, an audience or a campaign.

Only what your login can see

Sign-in is per person. On your own, you see exactly the accounts your logins already reach, and a colleague on the same connector sees theirs. As a member of an organisation on Upbuild, you also inherit every account your company shares with you. No shared service account, no accounts you were never given.

Dashboards, from Claude

Ask Claude for a dashboard. It lives on Upbuild, always on.

Describe the dashboard you want in Claude, and it is built from your live accounts and published to your Upbuild account in the same conversation. From then on it refreshes itself, every 30 minutes, every hour or once a day, at its own link that your team and your stakeholders can open, with no Claude seat and no platform login.

Change it from Claude, too

Want another chart, a different market split or a weekly refresh? Say so in Claude and the dashboard updates in place. Every change is saved as a version you can restore.

Shared, not screenshotted

The link is the deliverable. Share it with named colleagues or your whole organisation, and the numbers people read are today's numbers, not the ones from the day you exported them.

Add ROAS by market and switch it to weekly.

Updated. ROAS by market is on the dashboard, now refreshing weekly. Version 2.

Exports and alerts, from Claude

Schedule the data and set the alert, without leaving Claude.

A scheduled export is a job Upbuild runs for you: it collects the data you name from every account you choose, on the schedule you set, and delivers ready-to-use tables to your data warehouse, cloud storage or a spreadsheet. Ask for one in Claude in a sentence, and Upbuild keeps it running whether or not Claude is open. Exports and alerts live in the Upbuild app, so this needs an Upbuild account, not just the connector.

Change it from Claude, too

Add a Monday run, pull more history, add a destination or change the time: say so in Claude and the export updates. Every change is saved as a version you can restore.

Alerts, the same way

Tell Claude what to watch, such as any campaign past 80% of its monthly budget, and who to tell. Upbuild checks it every time the data refreshes and sends the warning by email, Slack or Microsoft Teams. It never changes anything in your accounts.

Prompts

Five to paste on the first day.

Written the way a media buyer would ask, not the way an API is queried. Press Copy, paste it into Claude, and swap in your own account names.

Ask across platforms in one go

Name the platforms, the period and the numbers you care about. Claude fetches each one and lines them up in one table.

Ask for the deliverable, not the data

Say what you need to send on: a table, a one-page review, three sentences of commentary. Claude does the collecting and the writing.

Change the names, keep the shape.

Audit my largest Google Ads account: structure, budget pacing, search terms with spend and no conversions, and the five changes you would make first.
Compare last month with the same month last year across Google Ads and Meta by market: spend, conversions, CPA, ROAS. Say which markets really changed and which is noise.
Line up GA4 sessions and conversions by channel for 90 days against Google Ads clicks and conversions, and explain where the two disagree.
List every tag, trigger and variable in my main GTM container, flag anything paused or with no trigger, and write it up as a table I can send on.
Build a one-page monthly review for Northwind Retail as an artifact: spend, conversions and CPA by platform, the top ten campaigns, three sentences of commentary.

Setup

Three steps, and you are in.

Upbuild is in the Claude connector directory, so it takes a minute. The full setup guide has the same steps, each dialog rebuilt field by field, plus ChatGPT, Copilot Studio and Gemini Enterprise.

Add Upbuild from the directory

Open Upbuild in the Claude connector directory and add it. It works on every Claude plan. On Team and Enterprise an owner enables Upbuild for the organisation once, then each person connects on their own.

Click Connect and sign in with the Google or Microsoft account that already has access to your platforms. That one choice decides what you see. Other platforms link with one click each; Adobe needs a one-time setup in your own Adobe console.

Ask your first question

Start a chat, check that Upbuild is switched on in the tools list, and ask. Free for 14 days on the connector and 7 days on the platform. No card needed. See pricing.

Before you ask us

Plans, permissions and the four things that actually go wrong.

Nothing here is exotic. Almost every support message we get about Claude is one of these four, and three of them are fixed on the platform rather than in the connector.

Which Claude plans work

Every plan, Free included, because Free allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an owner enables Upbuild for the organisation once, then each person connects with their own Google or Microsoft account and sees their own accounts.

I do not see the accounts I expected

On your own, Upbuild only shows what your logins already reach. If an account is missing, grant that login access on the platform itself, then ask again: the next call picks the new access up, and nothing needs reconfiguring in Claude. In an organisation on Upbuild, ask your admin to share the account with you.

It says the connection expired

There is nothing to repair by hand. The next tool call asks you to sign in again and picks up any new access on its own. Some platforms ask to be reconnected now and then by their own design, and the connector walks you through it.

Which login am I actually on?

Ask Claude to run whoami. It returns the Google or Microsoft identity behind the connection. Agencies juggling client logins can keep each one apart by adding /mcp2 and /mcp3 as extra connectors, each with its own sign-ins.
