How to connect Google Ads to Claude

Claude supports custom MCP connectors, which means Google Ads can become a set of tools Claude calls live: no exports, no copy-pasting reports into the chat. Here is the whole process, honestly timed at about two minutes if your login already has Ads access.

The Claude path

Upbuild is in the official Claude connector directory: open it, click once, nothing to paste. Claude then asks you to sign in to Upbuild with Google or Microsoft; use the account that has access to your marketing platforms, and Upbuild appears in your chat’s tools. It works on every Claude plan, Free included; on Team and Enterprise an owner may need to enable it first. The Claude connector page has every step.

If you sign in with Google, that single sign-in covers the whole Google family, such as Ads, GA4 and GTM, whatever your account can read.
