How to connect Meta Ads to Claude

Updated 19 Jun 2026·3 min read

Written by Uptimal, the team that builds and operates Upbuild and runs marketing analytics for multinational clients across the globe. Everything below reflects how the connector actually behaves in production.

Claude’s custom connectors make Meta Ads a first-class citizen of the conversation: live spend, ROAS and breakdowns, fetched on demand.

The Claude path

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it Upbuild and paste https://connector.upbuild.app/mcp. Claude will hand you to Google’s consent screen; approve with the account that can read the platform in question, and the connector appears in your chat’s tools.

Link Meta

The connect hub then offers Meta: approve with your Facebook login. The consent screen lists ads_read and read_insights only, the read-only proof worth screenshotting for your security team.

Where Claude particularly shines with Meta

Long analytical threads: creative fatigue reviews across weeks of data, structured tables of ad set performance, or “explain this CPA jump” investigations where Claude keeps pulling supporting breakdowns as the reasoning develops. Pair with Google Ads in the same chat and cross-network questions become one-liners; the Meta guide has the platform specifics.

Ask your ad platforms directly, in Claude or ChatGPT.

Upbuild is a read-only MCP connector for ten marketing platforms: 55 tools, live data, a 14-day free trial with no card.

Frequently asked questions

Does disconnecting really revoke access?

Yes, twice over: removing the connector kills the tools, and revoking Upbuild in your Facebook settings invalidates the token itself. Stored credentials are deleted on disconnect.

Can I use it on Claude mobile?

Yes. Connectors added on the web are available wherever you use that Claude account, including the mobile apps.
